Myself, and some of the team here at Qpal HQ have decided to share our musical preferences with you. Our diverse selection will hopefully hit the spot for you no matter the mood you’re in… take it away!

Q – Who is top of your playlist at the moment?

A – An “All Gold 80’s” playlist has recently been discovered on Spotify – while being a good few years ahead of my time, the tunes certainly don’t lose their shine! The Hunna are an upcoming band that are really doing it for me at the moment – check out their new album here.

Q – What early morning motivation or pre-night out jams get you going?

A – Being the lazy soul I am, early mornings can be a bit of a rarity unless I’m working – so a good dose of anything Jamiroquai does the trick for me! In terms of nights out, Kendrick Lamar’s new single “HUMBLE.” and “All Night” by Chance the Rapper are solid bets.

Q – What up and coming artists are you listening to at the moment?

A – The aforementioned “The Hunna” fit into this category. I’ve been throwing it back a bit more recently instead of looking forward, so will have to broaden my horizons a bit more with my new music choices!

Craig Buchan – Qpal’s Head Honcho

Q – Who is top of your playlist at the moment?

A - Ed Sheeran’s new album has been getting hammered on my Spotify in March… like everybody else in the world.
The Weekend’s album has been on repeat when I’ve been in Dubai the last few trips, puts me in a ‘here to do business mode’!

Q – What early morning motivation or pre-night out jams get you going?

A – Most things House and Techno will give me a spring in my step. Anything that Kolsch produces is gold, the Danish DJ is something else.

A couple other songs that are hitting the spot at the moment; Joe Goddard – Music Is The Answer (Hot Since 82 Remix), TCTS – Live For Something,

Q – What up and coming artists are you listening to at the moment?

A – A DJ I’m really rating and is creating new sounds is Yotto. Not so much up and coming anymore, but Catfish and the Bottlemen hit the spot on the rock and roll front for me.

Pinnacle – The Technical Wizards

Answers are from multiple sources (Carl, Kenny, Lynsey, William, Mark and Aiden) so the “best” will be chosen for each question.

Q – Who is top of your playlist at the moment?

A – Lynsey hits us with FIP Radio France Playlist, a continental choice but supposedly played in the office to wind up Carl! In response, and to drown out the French Classics, Carl is into the ‘Rock This’ Spotify playlist.

Q – What early morning motivation or pre-night out jams get you going?

A – Another Ed Sheeran fan in Qpal HQ as Mark gives his seal of approval. Aiden in with the ‘All Gold 80’s playlist and William lugging into some Churches and Imagine Dragons.

Q – What up and coming artists are you listening to at the moment?

A – Leader of the Pinnacle pack Kenny has hit us with some interesting choices… Trolls, Lego Batman, Guardians of the Galaxy v2 soundtracks, his kids must be rubbing off on him! Carl rounds things off by pointing us in the direction of X Ambassadors, Lower than Atlantis and Dreamers.

What a musical melting pot! Feel free to judge us after some questionable choices, we get it, not everyone is musically blessed! If we’ve piqued your interest though, and want to listen to some of these tunes on offer, we’ve compiled a playlist of some of the songs (and more) mentioned above on Spotify.
